ArcadiaLogos - Friend or Foe Identification

ArcadiaLogos is a WoW UI addon to quickly identify friendly guilds, and sworn enemy guilds. It's originally for members of the members of the Knights of Arcadia and Panda Attack/The Rapscallions families of guilds on Dark Iron, but other guilds on other servers can create their own logo packs. By default it shows a guild logo above your cursor when you mouse over a member of the respective guilds, and you can also have it display next to the target frame.

Identifies members of the many allied guilds with their logos (where available) for easy greeting and buffing.
Identifies members of the enemy guilds for finding and slaying.
Highly configurable mouseover logo (size, placement, alpha, fade time).
Optional target frame logo.
Key bindings to toggle mouseover functions.

Downloading and Installing

First download the most recent version of the addon, ArcadiaLogos-version.zip (e.g. ArcadiaLogos-0.9.1-1700.zip) from this URL:

Next unzip the file in your WoW install directory, with 'extract folders' enabled, so you end up with the following files (and others, but check for these three)

Interface\Addons\ArcadiaLogos\ArcadiaLogos.toc
Interface\Addons\ArcadiaLogos\readme.txt
Interface\Addons\ArcadiaLogos\Icons\KnightsOfArcadia.tga

There are version details and information in the readme.txt, open it with Wordpad or a similar editor if you want to read it.

Finally, fire up the game and you're good, you can look for it on the Addons panel (Button in bottom left corner at the character select screen), or run the /arcadialogos command in-game once you're in.

In-Game Commands

The addon can be configured, enabled, and disabled from within the game using the /arcadialogos command. Run the command on its own to see a full list of available options. The main options are described here:

/arcadialogos - Display summary of options and commands.
/arcadialogos config - Display the current configuration.
/arcadialogos reset - Reset all settings to their defaults.
/arcadialogos enable - Enable mouseover logo display.
/arcadialogos disable - Disable mouseover logo display.
/arcadialogos target <on|off> - Turn target frame logo display on or off.
/arcadialogos scale <value> - Change the size (percent) of the mouseover logo (10 to 1000, default 100)
/arcadialogos alpha <value> - Change the opacity (alpha) of the mouseover logo (0.01 to 1.00, default 1.00)
/arcadialogos fade <value> - Change the fade time (seconds) of the mouseover logo (0 to 60, default 0.5)
/arcadialogos angle <value> - Change the angle (degrees) of the mouseover logo from the cursor (-360 to 360, default 0)
/arcadialogos offset <value> - Change the distance (adjusted pixels) of the mouseover logo from the cursor (-1000 to 1000, default 3)
/arcadialogos tooltipname <on|off> - Set whether to show players' guild name at bottom of game tooltip (Default off).
/arcadialogos tooltipcolor <on|off> - Set whether to re-color tooltip background if player is in one of friend or foe guilds (Default off)
/arcadialogos listpacks - List all currently installed and registered Logo packs
/arcadialogos activepacks - List all currently active Logo packs

There are also some key bindings in the Arcadian Logos section of the game's key bindings menu:

Toggle logo display - Toggles whether mouseover logo display is enabled.
Toggle while hold - Temporarily toggles mouseover logo display while held down.
Make logos bigger - Increase the size of the mouseover logo.
Make logos smaller - Decrease the size of the mouseover logo.

Logo Packs

If you wish to create your own LogoPacks for use with ArcadiaLogos, see the logopacks.txt file included with the ArcadiaLogos zip file. Logo packs are then installed just like other UI addons (ArcadiaLogos must also be installed).
